Starting educations for factory use.

1991-99

University-wide training, safety management class, technical training for joint processing technology room, etc. had started. Wire electrical discharge machine, turning center (CNC combined lathe), machining center (CNC combined milling machine), etc. had been introduced.

2001年-

Central workshop also moved to Komaba II Campus with Institute of Industrial Science. Regular operation started in March 2001. New machine tools such as “Y-axis control combined machining CNC lathe (3 units), multi-surface machining (5-axis control) vertical machining center (1 unit), 5-side machining portal machining center (1 unit) ” were introduced.

2004年-

The University of Tokyo became national university corporation.

2011年-

Introduction of 3D printer.
